Can you fall in love with someone you’ve only talked to online?

I decided to answer this CuriousCat question because it’s something I myself wonder about all the time. And that’s probably why you sent it to me, because while it seems to come up in my content frequently, I just haven’t landed on a satisfying position on this issue.
